It's closing time at Manouche .... goodnight boys and girls.

'' The Manouche session that happened every sunday, at the Creperie Manouche, in Berlin... Hosted by Carlos Sant'anna, this wild jam was the meeting place for swing and jazz musicians after the working weekends, and was always quite free styled forward, and had this unxepected vibe... Anything could happen.
Basically it was a great party, in our way of praising the eternal composers and their great songs, and of celebrating a time period when living through music was loads of fun... ''

On this closing session:

Carlos St.Ana - Piano and vocals
Roland Satterwhite - Violin and vocals
Seraphim - Percussion and whistling
Hortense Rigot - Flute

Songs:

Basin Street/I can't give anything but love/Nuages/
After you're gone/La Mouche/making Whoopee(attempt)
When you're smiling/Caravan/In a sentimental mood/
Ain't Misbehaving/Like a Louisiana Fairy Tale/
Misty(attempt)/Pennies from Heaven

Recorded with Roland's portable zoom recorder, on 3 of February 2013.

RESPECT and ADMIRATION to every musician that played the sessions, and the happy listeners/dancers.

MUSIC IS THE BEST
