Profile description of Rob Moore:

Label Owner, Award Winning DJ, Remixer, Producer, Songwriter (ASCAP), Publisher (Afterlife Records LLC (ASCAP), and Electronic music enthusiast alike, Rob Moore AKA DJ Rob hails out of Jacksonville, Florida. When not DJing, Rob spends his time in the studio creating his own music, or remixing songs for other artists. Having spent many years DJing at all of the major local night clubs, holding multiple residencies, and DJing special events, Rob has had a lot of time to develop his style and Sound. Robs fans have compared his sets, to that of riding a roller-coaster; the apprehension, the excitement, the thrill, throwing your hands in the air, and when it’s all over, leaving you wanting more. Rob describes his style as hit em’ hard and keep on hitting them.

For Rob it’s all about the mood and the groove. Robs blend of uplifting house vocals, hard pounding bass lines, and punchy synth grooves, allows you let go of any troubles you may have, and takes you on a magical journey. When asked what Rob does to prepare for a set, Robs answer is simple “nothing.” “Of course I have a list of the hottest remixes that I’m going to drop through out the night, but no one can plan how the night is going to go.” “That’s why reading the crowd becomes more important than a pre-planned set list.” “Being Spontaneous keeps me on my toes, keeps it real, and keeps it exciting.”

It’s not uncommon for Rob to leave from behind the decks, hit the dance floor for a few minutes, and run back behind the decks, all while keeping the momentum going. When asked why he does that, he replies, “Because it’s fun.” “I get so excited when I see the crowd having a good time and the dance floor full, that I want to be apart of that energy.” “It’s also a great way for me to meet and thank the patrons for coming out.”

Robs latest achievements include being voted the best DJ in Jacksonville, Florida three years running by CityXtra Magazine, having five of his remixes from Ernest Kohl hit #1 on the Euro Dance Charts, being apart of a remix project for Twisted Dee & Spyglass Edmund feat Amuka that hit #5 on the U.S. billboard dance charts, and recently starting his own independent record label, and releasing original productions.

When Robs starts spinning, don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing.
