DJreeca Heavyweights is a Self Taught Gqom , House , AfroHouse , AfroTech & Commercial Music DJ Based in Mpumalanga ( Hazyview ) , He was born and raised in Hazyview ( Shabalala Trust ), His real name is BLESSING KATLEGO NDLOVU.

His love for music started to grow when he was 11 Years Old, He then Introduced himself to House music and DJs mix on LIGWALAGWALA FM was his favorite show ,
" I never knew that one day i could end up being a DJ because it started as a hobby where by i used to play using stoves , cans creating music with my mouth " he said.

DJreeca began experimenting deejaying in 2010 , when he was at TFOLINHLANHLA PRIMARY SCHOOL whereby he met friends who where also DJs and thats when he started to be passionate abou deejaying .

He then began playing gigs at some PARTIES , TAVERNS , WEDDINGS , GRADUATIONS and some SCHOOL EVENTS , with a computer software and his Stage name was DJ RMatsindza by then before he changed to DJreeca

FRANCE MASHABA Known as UNDERBOSS then started recruiting him when he had events so that he can come and show his talent, whenever he had events , he called him to come and play for the crowd in different taverns
" i started getting well known , and people from far could call looking for me , and people couldn't believe when i told them i was self taught to play " DJreeca Said.

" i was hired on a tavern called TAU TAVERN where by they were using 100 pioneers CDJs , I used to take them and practice with them when im home , i never used them on that tavern till i was able to play with them " He said .

He got Signed by the GENE's HOUSE team owned by DJGENERAL after he knew how to play with CDJs by the year of 2013 , he attended events that made him more popular
" im very humbled to be part of this group " he said after being a member of GENE's HOUSE DJs , He started to play on Taverns that are very well know and people were easy recognising his talent and became a reaident DJ at NiniNaNini Sports Bar.

He Joined HEAVYWEIGHTS ENTERTAINMENT early in 2017 , the vision of the group is to see Uplift Upcoming DJS and ARTISTS reaching out to the youth , uplift their talent and changing their lives in a porsitive and educating way ,
" Im very grateful and humbled to be part of this group , and thanks for the recognition of my talent at young age , i hope it will be uplifted " he said. After being a member of HEAVYWEIGHTS ENTERTAINMENT he started traveling places , being booked for events in Clubs , Pubs & More in Mpumalanga and other provinces , he shared stages with DJ MAPHORISA , MLINDO THE VOCALIST , BLACK MOTION , LADY ZAMAR , DR MALINGA , AFROTELLUS , THE PRINCE DJ GANYANI and etc and Often played on some of the radion stations such as K-Radio , Moletsi FM , Ligwalagwala fm , Radio Bushbuckridge and Umkhondo Fm.

His Skills are easy to potray but impossible to emulate.

" I play music depending on the situation , where i am playing and also the mood level of the crowd" he said.

2019 April he was called to play live on LIGWALAGWALA FM , on midday grooves , show hosted by SBUKZA , Therefore other radio stations started requesting for him to come and play live and some where requesting his mixtapes.and now a very popular radio DJ on BBRFM88.4Mhz playing on every saturday from 07h30 - 08h30 .

He promised to make you experience House , Qqom , AfroHose , House , Afrotech and Commercial at its best and in unique styles on decks. He now plays [ GQOM , HOUSE , AFROHOUSE , COMMERCIAL AND AFROTECH ]
