Biography DJ Phoenix

He's been very susceptible to this virus that infects electronic music. Already at school time he was sounding his classmates with the sound of the "TechnoClub aus dem Dorian Gray" (Frankfurt/ Main) during the big break, the "Musik-Pausen".
The big brother of a classmate regularly brought mixtapes from there. The mixtapes are responsible for it, and for everything else in his life that somehow has to do with music.
At the beginning of 1990 he entered the holy halls of Dorian Gray in Frankfurt airport for the first time.

There he got to know those who had a decisive influence on the formation and development of our scene, and who still do most of it. At the beginning of 1995, however, he decided to take a different path than that of producing and traveling through the world's clubs as a DJ.

In 2004 he got sunny and decided to change something. He dug out his mothballed Vinylʼs, bought 2 turntables and mixers, and started DJing again.
First mainly at private parties, he knocked the dust off the membranes with trance, hardtrance and hardtechno.

2009 - 2013 he was DJ at the label "Beatz of Cologne" and mixed again in the club scene. He expanded into the genre "Hardstyle" and played on numerous Hardstyle but also Trance parties in the region.

In 2014 he turned his back on the hard northern German and Dutch sound. Since then there was only Trance on the menu. It was Frankfurt's progressive hard trance that pushed and inspired him again.

In 2015 he joined his first "Goa-Party". Then it happened and he fell in love anew. From that moment on, it was clear to him, Psytrance with everything that belongs to it.
In the middle of 2015 he began working for the label "Monkey Forest Rec." and as DJ Phoenix he started to give his psytrance to the best at various parties in the Cologne area.

In 2017 he played at the "Zeitbrei Festival" near Hanover. His first gig at a festival.
At the end of 2017 he changed to the Cologne label "V.i.b.e.z. Produktion".

Since 2018 he plays regularly at events like Insomnia 3000, Simsalabim, Sun Splash, Sound of the Sun, Goa Xperience, Lagoona in clubs like Butan Club / Wuppertal, Projekt X and Matrix / Bochum, Microport / Krefeld,
Bogen 2, Artheater und Odonien / Cologne and n8lounch Bonn.
The highlight in 2018. He played on the "V.i.b.e.z. Floor" at Nature One.
A dream had become reality.

2019 began with guest performances in clubs in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Wuppertal, Bochum, Cologne and Winterberg.
In the Project X - Bochum he got his resident status.
Also this year he will not miss the chance to give his best on the "V.i.b.e.z. Floor" of Nature One.
