The Biotic Phenomenon

With the news that Biotic Records (www.facebook.com/bioticrecords) are setting up and releasing again, I finally got the chance to complete my collection of the first run of vinyl from one of the most consistent, yet underrated, labels in drum & bass history.

Whilst everyone raved about Renegade Hardware, Outbreak and Cylon, Outbreak sat back and released some of the best 2nd Generation Techstep out there. From the seminal Plankton to B-Key showing what was to come in his Scientific Wax days with the likes of Intruder and Element, Every single Biotic release had something for the darker heads in the dnb scene.

This mix is a 2 hour tribute to a superb label, with at least one track off of every vinyl release - with the exception of the Plankton VIP release, as I'd already got the original in. It also includes the Biotic remix of Dieselboy & Tech Itch's anthem Atlantic State.

So, if you like you dnb dark and techy, strap in for 2 hours of a true phenomenon.
