There are many countries that run competitions to pick their submissions to Eurovision, unlike the lazy TV execs in the UK, France and elsewhere that pick submissions (I imagine lots of old white dudes with nicotine fingers, in light grey suit, in a nondescript grey boardroom, picking boring crap that they decide to submit to the song contest... and to be frank most of the time, their picks are shit).\n\nHowever the other countries who run contests open it up to so many interesting and unique artists... and many more who are to DJ Moose's musical tastes. In the Baltics alone there were 79 artists who tried out in the national selections. Seventy-nine from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia! Okay most were not to DJ Moose's taste, but as the playlist for this episode will show, 11 were.
