Produced by Dj Martini. (DjMartini.com). Black Mariah. The story behind "Black Maria(h)" is that it is named after Edison's Black Maria (ma-RYE-uh) movie production studio in West Orange, New Jersey. It was the world's first film production studio...hence my first production song. Being originally from New Jersey, it seemed like a perfect inspiration for the name.
