Born in Rotterdam, DJ Marcel has always been surrounded by music. Growing up in a musical family, his dream was always to perform in front of people with his selfmade "djbooth".
Years later, he fulfilled this great dream by working in the local club as a resident DJ.

Just before the COVID19 crisis he had an online radio station where he mainly played Techno.
Station was called And Techno It Is. Unfortunately, this station no longer exists.

Nowadays he is showing off his skills on the internet, again.

DJ Marcel recently started a new chapter by starting a music channel on Twitch.
On his channel, called Escape the Mundane, he tries to be a gateway to another dimension with his new tunes in the Progressive House genre to escape reality for a while.
