With 20+ years in the Breaks scene, Kevin “K-Funk” Stanton is no stranger to the music industry. He began DJ’ing back in 1999 in Tampa, Florida when the Breaks scene was flourishing from the signature Florida breakbeat sound. K-Funk quickly became recognized as a favorite DJ for his smooth mixes and funky sound, securing him a residency at Club Manhattan and regular performances at The Masquerade.

In 2008, Kevin co-founded a record label, UFO Recordings, and released numerous original tracks and remixes such as ‘Funkazoid’ (Annihilation Remix). K-Funk also had success working with the group ‘The Contract Killers’ who remixed several songs and gained some notoriety in the Florida scene.
