I just found a full recording of my **April 2023 set at REKT in Austin** that I completely forgot existed.

And I mean completely.

**René LaVice and Airglo** were headlining that night at **The Courtyard**, with **Alyssa Rose and me — DJ D.M.X. — on support duties.**

Here’s what makes this recording different:

It came **straight off the video camera microphones.**

No clean board feed.
No multitrack recording.
No going back three years later trying to polish everything until it sounds perfect.

You hear the room. You hear the crowd. You hear people reacting. You hear what was actually happening in there.

And I kinda love that about it.

A perfectly clean recording is great, but sometimes hearing the crowd losing their minds behind the music tells the story better than anything else could.

Apparently this thing has just been sitting on my hard drive **collecting digital dust for three years** while I completely forgot about it.

So… better late than never.
