Around the time I made the juke mix, I was dating someone who was super into Jungle music and I had always liked it, but had only ever really collected Raggacore, being from a breakcore background. Over a good few months, I started absorbing more and more jungle and exploring labels old and new. But what sparked this mix was hearing for the first time, Sumo Jungle by Soichi Terada (who usually does house stuff) which my friend had sent me a long time before but I had never listened to it as it got lost in the "new music shuffle". I still don't own a copy of the Sumo Jungle records (which tend to go for between $45 - $150 nowadays)

Eventually I organized a bunch of tracks cohesively in the same fashion as the previous juke mix, hitting the old happy plant and making magic. eheheheh

This was the final mix I would do on the old Stantons/Numark setup and it doesn't disappoint. If you're a junglist, this mix would be right up your alley. It features a good amount of tracks from juggernauts like Remarc, Bizzy B, FFF, Soundmurderer, and Murderbot....but also a heavy amount of rare japanese jungle, and uk netlabel jungle stuff of the time.
