Dj Bruno Bolla began his story behind the console in the early 80s, emerging with the Afro Cosmic disco genre on the wave of the greatest exponents of that sound, Mozart, Beppe Loda and Daniele Baldelli. Later he pioneered the house and acid jazz scene of the 90s, immediately becoming a reference figure in Italian clubbing with historic residences such as Matmos, Kama Kama, Heads Up and Fitzcarraldo (for the house genre), Jazid, Tutti I Frutti and Jazz Cafe with acid Jazz / trip hop / future jazz sounds.
Among his highlights prestigious collaborations such as the radio programs Dancefloor Jazz (Rai Stereo2 -1995) and Cool Dance (Radio Montecarlo 1999-2004), the ten-year Eclectic Jazz , a column of musical reviews on the independent magazine Discoid Magazine, international productions such as Influencia do Jazz for Dig It International (3 volumes between 1995 and 1996), The first Break'N'Bossa for the nu-jazz label Schema Records (1997) and Blacktronic on D-Vision (Two volumes 2004-2005 ), in addition to the albums Neos - Indefinita Atmosfera paired with Nu Jazz star Gerardo Frisina and New Millenium Freaks on the English label Tirk (2010) with the Kraut / Nu-disco Love Supreme combo.
In the 2000s he was the historical resident of the Sundays of Cafe Solaire (2000-2010), an open air space that at the Milan seaplane base boasted a record attendance of over 5000 people, the first Milanese underground situation with these numbers, first promoting genres such as the afro house of labels such as Ibadan, Spiritual life, Yoruba as well as the new course of the American and European deep house. He is in the team of Radio Milano International, the first Italian private radio in history, now present on the web and FM in Lombardy and Piedmont; he collaborates with RMI for fixed parties at the Principe Di Savoia Hotel in Milan and at Terrazza Duomo 21 as well as a series of party offs for the Milanese trade fairs.
He teaches the Advanced Dj Tech course at the R12 school where he talk about the history of the origins of dance music, about Italian and international club stories and about cultures and subcultures of African American music, also teaching techniques with turntables.
Another creation by Bruno, Dj Fundamentals, is connected to his teaching activity, with workshops, conferences, presentations and art exhibitions, live events with DJs and musicians.
On the production side He's actually an half of Dois De Estrada , a Re-edits project with Dj Roberto Di Movi.
