Anoop Absolute! - Azadi/Sayonee

Gully Boy's 'Azadi' reminded me of an album by the same name released in 1997, of a Pakistani band called 'Junoon'.
This was Junoon's 4th studio album but their debut release in India.
The song 'Sayonee' became an instant hit and went on to win global accolades & awards!
Their songs were mainly about Government's dirty deeds, hate politics and the communal hatred as a result of that, corruption in the society, social inequalities, etc.
Incidentally Gully Boy's Azadi borders on a similar emotion.
Hence, I decided to marry them both!
