The idea for this mix popped into my head the very first time I heard 'Move' by John Daly. I imagined myself flying through space on a cosmic adventure.....I have an over-active imagination. The idea stayed just that for a long time, but whenever I heard a song that sent me stratospheric, I stored the data in my memory pod for later use.
I think this is the longest I've ever spent compiling a mix, and it's taken on many different incarnations (the first time I recorded it, the mix sounded too spacey!?) I ended up with a playlist of nearly 5 hours worth of tracks that I had to cull. I could have just recorded a really long mix, but that seemed a bit excessive!
