I'm still in awe of what you can get Pioneer CDJ 2000's to do, it's just incredible especially when you got them plugged into a DJM 2000. And I love the pioneer controllers for Serato DJ, which has just been updated to DDJ-SZ,

But regardless of how many tools and options that have been made available since I first learned to beatmix on a pair of Soundlab DLP-1600s, my most favoured way to DJ has always been and always will be with vinyl, and that's why Serato Scratch was the most important product of the the digital revolution in DJing to me.

I often use the loop and effects in Serato but I recorded this house set just as I would have done 15 years ago if I'd bought the vinyl instead of downloading the mp3s. No sync buttons, no loops and no effects. Just pitch up & down, volume, EQs and most importantly to me the touch of the record spinning which is all I've ever really wanted.
