Sourav Sarkar a.k.a Droptrix, an introvert with humble beginnings, dabbled in to the world of Disk Jockey-ing in 2013.
Hailing from the foothills of the Himalayas, powered by the aromatic tea from surrounding tea estates, motivated by the beauty of each scenic morning, He learnt that his soul & passion lay in music. 'And it's through his music he finally made sense of this curious epilogue called life.'

Sourav's musical journey as a DJ began in his room, with what seemed like a million hours on his console, with endless practice, devoting himself fully to the Electronic Music genre. With a Little bit of luck his magical musical Midas touch no longer was confined to his room. A local musician recognized his talent and gave him a break, an opportunity to showcase his music at private parties. The feedback was sublime! And for Droptrix, there was no looking back!.
