I originally intended this to be a quick preview demo before headlining an outdoor event called Summer Heat, somewhere in the dark forests of Vancouver Island. I think i ended up playing maaaaaaybe one of the tracks on here? I kept much more to traditional garage/speed garage kinda sounds than the straight up bassline house / organ represented here. But i kept getting requests to put this up permanently, so here it is!

I don't think i've EVER spun out a straight bassline set anywhere, but for the maybe 3 hours of work i put into this, it turned out pretty hilariously well (Olive's "You're Not Alone" is slightly out of place, but shrug). There's very little subtlety... it's just banging basslines and squelchy noises and good good times :D Also I think this is one of the last mixes i did using my old Numark D² Director, for whatever that's worth. But it was a decent bit of easily-transportable and highly useful kit that powered a lot of good times and good shows... happy to give it a banging, fun-filled sendoff ^.^
