My most well-known and widely traveled mix! Recorded in the summer of 2002, when the majority of my mental energy revolved around music and DJing. With the exception of the Ruff Drivers track, this was all freshly-pressed vinyl, acquired in the 6-12 months prior to recording. It's 78 minutes of straight banging 4-step / 4x4 UK Garage / Bassline (whatever your preferred genre terminology is), with a few solid 2-step tracks to break it up a bit. The one bit of scratching was live (MY ONLY AND FINEST WORK LOL), as were all the effects... which was me playing around with this outboard FX box from a company called RedSound.

In any case, i hope you find this as enjoyable today as many found it 15 years ago. I'm still super proud of so many of the mixes on here... the mix out of Future Dubz into Daniel Beddingfield still gives me happy chills every single time.
