A Young vibrant music producer, voice over artist, DJ and Radio Personality who has been intimately involved with music and multimedia since a young age. "I absolute bliss in creating, uncovering and sharing unprecendented timeless music at each turn" the pretoria born taste master says. He officially cut his teeth into the industry in 2009 after completing an Advanced Music production and Sound Engineering Course at the Soul candi Institute of Music. This led him down an incredible path that resulted in him working on various stage and studios productions ultimately landing him in broadcasting. He lended his soulfully infectious bellow as a presenter and content producer for the prime time Adventure Pre-Breakfast show on Hillbrow Radio in 2007.

He's currently been running two of his own shows entiltled, The Luminous express and LOCOMOTION on Radio BOP. Both listener favourites which serve as an ellectic platform that is aimed at celebrating and exposing otherwise unknown artists as well as starting a vital conversation around timeless music in the rapidly evolving global society.

The Real Lu is making and playing the music of his heartbeat precisely the way he's always wanted, creating a fully realized career that is the culmination of where he's been and where he's headed. One is surely winning him notoriety that is demanded by the depth and quality of his taste.

To answer this, we’ll have to drift back some 2 decades to where SOUND first made sense to Wizz, I did not grow up in a musical family, but I was raised by parents who were passionate ‘bout the type of music they listened to, oddly for my Mother it was her traditional Tsonga Music that will always play the loudest, and as for my Father it was anything Gospel related… I travelled a lot with them, I’d even claim that’s the types of music I got to listen to the most in my younger years, and though I did not grow up to listen to them myself, I do acknowledge it played some part in shaping me, Musically.

I developed an ear for sound, and having passion for this deep down I guess I was always looking for that intriguing sound, during my younger years I was fascinated by Hip-Hop music & culture, to at some point I even believed that was the type of music I was looking for, but deep down I was still longing for a Sound, the sound I don’t know but could tell what I was listening to was not it, collecting & dubbing cassettes from radio, this LOVE to collect & share different sounds really developed in me early, but of course the ERA I was born in music wasn’t easy to access like now, but I soldiered on, one TDK cassette at a time…

Then one day by a stroke of luck, or whatever fate may call it… I discovered a cassette to this day I can’t tell you where I found it, the cassette was so old I was even afraid it won’t play, but when I pressed that play my whole MUSICAL WORLD turned upside down.

I remember thinking to myself what is this type of music, and it took me a while to finally know what it was, all thanks to my youngest Uncle on my mother’s side who knew the album, it was at this time that my ears finally found an identity, but of course the limitations were there, for starters I did not know where to go to source more of that type of music, but it was approaching the mid-20s & more & more music was finding its way to newer ears, this provided an plethora of explorations to fine tune my ears, exploring more & more sounds,
Fast forward a decade later I finally decided to pick up that old habit of collecting different sounds & sharing it with the masses, and thus we’re here… WizzART unfiltered.]]>

WizzART, who is WizzART?

To answer this, we’ll have to drift back some 2 decades to where SOUND first made sense to Wizz, I did not grow up in a musical family, but I was raised by parents who were passionate ‘bout the type of music they listened to, oddly for my Mother it was her traditional Tsonga Music that will always play the loudest, and as for my Father it was anything Gospel related… I travelled a lot with them, I’d even claim that’s the types of music I got to listen to the most in my younger years, and though I did not grow up to listen to them myself, I do acknowledge it played some part in shaping me, Musically.

I developed an ear for sound, and having passion for this deep down I guess I was always looking for that intriguing sound, during my younger years I was fascinated by Hip-Hop music & culture, to at some point I even believed that was the type of music I was looking for, but deep down I was still longing for a Sound, the sound I don’t know but could tell what I was listening to was not it, collecting & dubbing cassettes from radio, this LOVE to collect & share different sounds really developed in me early, but of course the ERA I was born in music wasn’t easy to access like now, but I soldiered on, one TDK cassette at a time…

Then one day by a stroke of luck, or whatever fate may call it… I discovered a cassette to this day I can’t tell you where I found it, the cassette was so old I was even afraid it won’t play, but when I pressed that play my whole MUSICAL WORLD turned upside down.

I remember thinking to myself what is this type of music, and it took me a while to finally know what it was, all thanks to my youngest Uncle on my mother’s side who knew the album, it was at this time that my ears finally found an identity, but of course the limitations were there, for starters I did not know where to go to source more of that type of music, but it was approaching the mid-20s & more & more music was finding its way to newer ears, this provided an plethora of explorations to fine tune my ears, exploring more & more sounds,
