David Dewey, a Seattle native, has been blessed with opportunities to create and participate in the Seattle and Pacific Northwest underground dance movement since 2004. David performed as Von Dewey for 12 years, learning on turntables in a members only speakeasy formerly known as Analog. Von Dewey performed at raves, house parties, clubs, warehouse & outdoor renegades and enjoyed playing energy, psytrance, progressive and epic trance, electro house, minimal techno and deep house.

Dewey co-owns a DJ/producer co-op by the name Sound Ethic (formerly, Booty Resin) and has co-produced outdoor festivals & renegades and club nights since 2007, playing alongside and booking some of the world's greatest known and undiscovered talent.

Fast forward to today. Von Dewey has been retired (mostly). David Dewey began producing in 2014 and enjoys making midtempo-breaks, downtempo, techno or anything with a psychedelic twist. He has redefined his style time and again and continues to push the envelope of genre defying music whether through production or DJ'ing.
