Wav-Dr wrote the guitars, vocal, and keyboard and volleyed it back Davey's way. He Mixed and Mastered it and Wav Dr did the Graphic Design. This is a complete Indie effort by Daveyhub and wav-Dr and the first of what could be a dynamic electronic music making partnership.

Daveyhub is an amazing DJ/Producer and is heavily influenced by rave and breakbeat tunes from the early 90's as well as bands such as The Prodigy , Chemical Bros , Underworld , Orbital , Leftfield and many more.

David is also a member of #Blocktronika which is a global divergent beats collective consisting of d.j’s & producers from across the planet.

The first time Wav-Dr heard his Production skills he new that he wanted to collaborate with him.

Throw in a couple of recent treats and you have a audible pick n mix of some proper dance bangers.

Well I finally got to do a track with Martin Reed aka Tophonicus and what a tune we managed to create together. Here is the next instalment of my DJ tribute mixes and this one is a heavyweight contest between 2 bass and beats specialists. In the blue corner there is no introduction needed as we have probably the best live electronic band in the universe The Prodigy. These guys have been on the scene for well over 20 years and are still at the forefront pushing their unique blend of heavy beats , synths and guitars combined with the vocals of Keith Flint and Maxim. In the red corner we have The Freestylers who , whilst maybe not as mainstream as The Prodigy , have also carved out a career in heavy breakbeats and bass lines. The Freestylers are a British electronic music group, consisting of producers Matt Cantor, Aston Harvey. They have released five studio albums and a number of mix compilations for, among others, Fabric and BBC Radio 1 Xtra.

So there you have it , 2 heavyweights slugging it out track by track in the mix.

This is a mix designed to be listened at a LOUD volume so turn it up !!

In the blue corner we have Underworld a British electronic group formed in 1980 and the principal name under which musicians Karl Hyde and Rick Smith have recorded together. Darren Price has toured with the band since 2005, after the departure of Darren Emerson in 2000. Known for visual style and dynamic live performances, Underworld have influenced a wide range of artists and been featured in soundtracks and scores for films, television, and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Their fifth studio album, Barking, was released on 13 September 2010.

Put them together and you have a unrivalled sound clash of two of the biggest pioneers in the UK electronic music scene.

They slug it out in the mix with a track from each band coming together to blow your speakers.
