Pretty much everyone knows who The Prodigy is, and many people know the production behind their tracks is down to Liam Howlett, "the prodigy" behind The Prodigy. Having started off by giving a demo tape to Keith Flint (RIP) back in the early 90s, they made their way through the underground rave scene, to the overground rave scene, to the overground everything scene.

I'm lucky to have seen The Prodigy play many times, from Universe Tribal Gathering right through to their huge gig at Milton Keynes bowl just minutes from my house. Each time the energy has been infectious, from the stage antics to the actual production of the music itself. And of the production, Liam is the best breakbeat engineer I can think of, getting such weight out of the beats it's unbelievable.

It's an honour to play my favourite tracks, right from the day I first picked up the XL Recordings promo tape with Android on it. BIG UP.
