In the final radio show for 2017, I reviewed all the music I'd released in the year, along with my very favourite top 10 of 2017.

MY TOP 10 OF 2017:

1. KSHMR & TIGERLILLY - Invisible Children (Mizel Edit) (MAY)
   Original released in September 2016 on Spinnin records. The title refers to the children from slums, which KSHMR said are in places where poverty is so rampant that people begin to stop noticicing. KSHMR is American, Tigerlilly is Australian. Tigerlilly had the idea and sent it to Tiesto, who said to team up with KSHMR.

2. Spongebob Squarewave - Advert Carnage (JULY)
   From the Pool Party EP on Off Me Nut. Tich (behind Spongebob) had said at the time he was bored of doing Spongebob Squarewave, as he was concentrating more on bassline. But in the last 6 months seems to have been doing more Spongebob sets than ever and is playing on the Thursday opening night main stage at Bangface Weekender!

3. Pianoid - Augmented Raver (MARCH)
   Leftfield choice this and found via the Nuskool Breaks Blog from Glowkid. Pianoid, aka Pianoid is from Japan and says his influences are 90s hardcore rave, enya, squarepusher, and indonesian house music.

4. Origin Unknown - Sound in Motion (Killbox Remix) (DECEMBER)
   From the amazing RAM 25 LP that came out a couple weeks ago. Original courtesy of Andy C back in 1998

5. Tom Starr - Higher (Olly P Remix) (APRIL)
   Original released in 2015, first of two tracks from Olly P in the top 10. Back in April Olly hit 2000 listeners on soundcloud and uploaded a pack of his remixes and edits, chock full of amazing tracks. So this is the first of two.

6. Delta Heavy - Gargantua (SEPTEMBER)
   Hitting many top track lists on the download sites and one of Ponders favourites, this was released on RAM records who have had a great year.

7. Dave Spoon - At Night (Olly P Remix) (APRIL)
   The original may be almost a decade old now, but from the 2k bootleg pack this is my favourite track, and went down amazingly well everywhere I played it. People kept asking me what the track was.

8. Drumsound & Bassline Smith - Welcome To The Machine VIP (DECEMBER)
   Gargantua, Sound in Motion, and loads of similar tracks had that growling bass sound, but this was my pick for the savage drop. From the amazing Drumsound & Bassline Smith album "Wardance".

9. Ryuki Miyamoto - Blacklolita - Secret Weapon (Kyo 170 Bootleg) (SEPTEMBER)
   Original was a NEST premiere in August, but within a month Kyo had grabbed it, sped it up, and made it even heavier. Coming out on Trekkie Trax from Tokyo (which happened to be the same label that released my remix of Ennn's Dark side).

10. Sinister Souls & Pythius - Ultimatum (APRIL)
    Prospect Records is a savage label and have been running the biggest events over in Europe for what seems like forever now, but the collab between Sinister Souls & Pythius instantly resulted in Sinister Souls becoming one of my favourite artists of the year, and this was my
    favourite track from the "Make Some Noise" EP. The second drop is
    savage and the whole thing roars along. In a year of amazing tracks,
    this takes the top spot, been in my set lists since it's release in
    April. Biggups to Gareth @ Prospect, and of course to SS & Pythius.
