Fred has had a radio show for 16 years, and some very nice friends who like to arrange parties. Some of the records here in this mix are from the West Indies, some from Cameroon, some from the Ivory Coast and some from South Africa.

Always exploring new, old, hard, and edgy elements his favourite is now a minimal tech house sound while still delivering deep chunky baselines, mostly influenced by the Promoters and DJ's of the early 90's Jungle scene.

This is a unique sound, a sound you should let yourself listen to.

He bought 10-12 tracks he had his eye on for a while and mixed them together one afternoon by the seaside.

His taste and style grew from listening to hip-hop in the 90's and a strong liking for mid 90's house music and disco. Swiftly, he moved on to large doses of techno...

Always exploring new, old, hard, and edgy elements his favourite is now a minimal tech house sound while still delivering deep chunky baselines, mostly influenced by the Promoters and DJ's of the early 90's Jungle scene.

This is a unique sound, a sound you should let yourself listen to.

DJ Crump takes us through his super-prolific gold run from the late 70's to late 80's including mostly side projects, 12-inch remixes, B-sides and LP tracks. To make it a reasonable listening time he had to be brutal, sacrificing many songs he wanted to use, (this could've been a 4 hr mix easily!!) and obvious tunes everyone knows like Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, Kiss, 1999 etc.

Both Crump and ourselves were very happy with how this turned out.
