Composer from Bergamo (Italy) and student of modern music production and writing at "centro professione musica" (CPM) academy in milan, one of the best musical schools in Italy. I Chose the name Dave Darko for two reasons: my friends call me Dave and my favourite movie is Donnie Darko, so I just combined the two things... not the most original name out there but I think it sounds good enough.

I started my musical journey as a guitarist in 2007, I learnt how to play electric guitar by myself and did it for 3 years. in 2010 I joined the band Underskyes and one of the members told me about this academy (CPM) in milan that taught many different musical subjects, so, in 2012, I passed the exam to enter this academy and did 1 year of guitar (wich went through many different styles of playing and general music theory).
In january we started a free parallel piano course too and I really liked it, so I bought an electric piano and started playing it at home.
Finished that year I noticed that the only thing I was looking forward to in my classes was music writing and production, a subject we would've started studying only at the 3rd year, so I asked about it and learnt that there was a full course about it.
So in 2013 I joined the class of modern music writing and production, I am currently studying music theory (basic and advanced), music history, orchestration, music analisys and mixing and production with some of the best teachers of their subject italy has to offer (Sandro Mussida, Diego Maggi, Fabio Nuzzolese and Mell Morcone).
My biggest dream is to become a composer for visual projects, especially videogames... and to meet Nobuo Uematsu in person!
