From the early days of him joining the roster, we have seen him grow and evolve into the type of musician we have envisioned him to become : sublime and progressive. Whether it's re-works or or original composition, Samuel never ceases to amaze and surprise.
And here with 'Rua', he shows his uncanny ability to capture a certain essence with the right balance of musical elements. He kicks off the track with lush synths and signature basslines before flipping it into a completely different direction : a heavy drum-laden, sampled based slow burner. Indeed, this is just one of the many facets of Samuel Truth, one that has earned him new fans in the form of Majestic Casual, Potholes in the Blog and many others.
