Black Therapy EP146 - August 27th, 2018

This week for this 146th episode and for his second time on the show, my guest is dj Kingdom.

From the age of 4, DJ KINGDOM develops a great passion for music and dance. At primary and secondary school he offers his performances as DJ for parties with friends and special events which will transport him to a whole other musical dimension "the House Music". He draws his inspiration from renowned DJs such as David Morales and Roger Sanchez.

Temporarily he puts aside his passion for music to come back in great force in 2001-2002, he will take his place in the community of nightlife of Montreal at major events including Inter-Club Budweiser cruises and resident Dj Bourbon Street St-Adele and Redlite after-hours or His style is quickly adopted by the clientele of discotheques. Kingdom skilfully practices house and teak house style.

It was in 2010 that Kingdom began to participate in major events while he was invited to open for none other than Tiesto at the leading beach club Calumet. That same year as well as in 2011 He will participate in the prestigious BPM festival of Playa Del Carmen for the Bal en Blanc event. In 2012 he was the opening DJ of the famous event of the same name in Montreal alongside Fedde Legrand, Steve Angello to name only those. 2013 and 2014 were just as prestigious when he had the chance to play at the very popular Ibiza Festival at the Pointe-Calumet Beach Club.

Since January 2009, he has been working on music composition and in very short time these compositions have been heard in several clubs in the province.

Dj one day! Dj always!
