Bio:
DAMNITSDISCO (Farbe am Morgen/Kong)
…consists of Johannes better known as Findus and Bernie aka Acid Kayak.
Both were born in the beginning of the 80ies and grew up in the far out corners of Bavaria in places so remote you wont even find em on Google maps.
Well, since their surroundings then were mostly into cheap Eurodance, “Zeltdisco” and “Rüscherl” they both
developed a healthy D-I-Y attitude and started to throw parties from an early age on.
Things got a bit more serious when they moved to Munich in the early 2000s and started to develop a heavy interest in dance music although despising the so called “minimal” sound that had its peak then.
When they were introduced by a common friend things clicked right away and they soon started playing B2B sets in various clubs in Munich and soon also Berlin and Vienna and in addition to that began to throw parties in Munich clubs (first under the DICKSO label and then as FARBE AM MORGEN), hence a common outfit had to be formed.
While both of them also play solo from time to time – Findus together with his mates from up-and-coming lewdandloud label – and senior Acid Kayak with the guys from the antime collective – it’s the combined powers of greyskull, ahm hold on… their tastes in House and Disco (deep, melodic, atonal; straight, weird, gay; oldschool, newschool, trueschool; slow, fast and hyperspeed) that are guaranteed to put a smile on dancer’s faces.
