After the undisputed success of the excellent Ricky Force 'Bad Rep / Celestial (Remixes)' single, Citerion Records are back once more with two expertly crafted drum & bass tracks, this time featuring the immense talents of Return II and Champa B.

Label newcomer Return II makes his debut to the label and takes us on an exhillarating journey to the deep side with 'The Avenue' where he showcases his flair for intricate break programming over a spine-tingling series of dischordant drones and thundering bass pulses. One can only imagine the devastation that this will cause when played out on a club sound-system.

We next see the return of the ever prolific Champa B who introduces us to the gorgeously atmospheric 'Love Me', which layers intense, rolling amen breaks with lush soaring pads, dreamlike sub-aquatic elements and a deep contemplative drop. Creating a richly textured blend of both the rough and the smooth that would not sound out of place in a mid-nineties "intelligent jungle" set.

Criterion Records, with the assistance of Return II and Champa B raise the bar once again for producing premium quality, vinyl only drum & bass.
