This track was written just before moving from my hometown of Whitley Bay in the vicinity of Newcastle Upon Tyne to Manchester for University, and is about how even thought I had not left yet, I felt somewhat distant to friends who I was once close with simply because of the inevitable. I would describe my sound as noise beat, as it features both the noisy-distorted sounds of shoegaze music (e.g. my bloody valentine, the jesus and mary chain) and the danceable beats of contemporary producers (e.g. hudson mohawke, aphex twin, flume).
