I've been mostly doing original tracks, remixes and the occasional mix over the last two years but the feeling remained that I should step back into the mashup / edit game. This is that step. I knew I had to do this edit when I first heard Steve Aoki's new banger. That's why I did it. There's a difference in key between both tracks, but I managed to circumvent it by tweaking the buildup a little bit. The result: A funk classic given a new dancefloor suit. Perfect to surprise first and blow minds second. Hit play and convince yourselves!
