Cobey’s passion for music started at an early age. Purchased first cassette tape at age 7, attended first rock concert at 12, commenced classical musical study at age 11, lead clarinet in the high school band at 15, first underground rave at 16, purchased Technics 1200’s at 20 and went on to develop a self-confessed vinyl addiction.

COBZ took out the Left Bank DJ Competition in 2010 and is known for his unique tune selection and slick mixing skills. He has since played alongside a selection of both international, national and local beat jockies at a variety of venues across Perth.

With over 20 years’ experience and over 3000 vinyl records in his collection, COBZ plays an eclectic mix of disco, house, soul, hip hop, funk and breaks.
