In this chapter, David is anointed King, and has the enormous task of taking on theb Philistines, in battle.
In verse 19, he inquired of The Lord whether he should go up against them.
Jehovah answers him and basically lets him know that he is already victorious, because God Himself, will hand him the victory.

In our own walk with Christ, we find ourselves pushing very hard, trying to reach our goals, and manifesting our plans. At times, we stumble and fall, because we don't slow ourselves down enough, to inquire of The Lord.
