This set was recorded on July 1st 2017 at fono / Kuala Lumpur. (Thanks again for having me.) #internationalreggaeday

We all danced & enjoyed ourselves! Vibes!!! Anything was possible I thought! (well the #slippeddisk & some #painkillers had me in check)

You will be able to tell from the set at which point the crowd started dancin, even though you can see or hear them. My selection changed right away. From a crowd getting comfy on the chairs we suddenly had something going there. I threw in a charmer tune good measures & for the feminine side & any kind of mellow lovers out there and I bang... a more outgoing tune comes in for the masculine side of the pie. Looking and checking back makes me happy. I had something for everyone, in the roams of Dub.

"Skippin' disks" is a pun, I was discharged from hospital with a slipped disk just the day before the gig. That's how bad I finally wanted to play this vinyl only selection.

Hope you dig it. I won't publish the playlist in all detail but I tell you this much. I started out with a tunes called #Beyonde by #O$VMV$M and finished the selection with a tunes by #MassiveAttack called #RadiationmeetstheNation in a legendary #MadProfessor dub version, I played the #NoNoNo Dub by #KingTubby I played #TheUniques with #QueenMajesty and a tune #KenBoothe had to be in this mix. I chose #SetMeFree

I threw in some hidden gems like the #CarlCraig edits of #TheCongos #CongoMan and the timeless remix by #RicardoVillalobos for #RhythmandSound w/ the artists #LetWeGo

I was quite limited in terms of Dub weapons and I only brought a little #Korg Ribbon Synth, but the feedback kept dropping out and it was just half the fun. Once listening to the set at home I decided to simply dub it again.
