Rather belated it may be but this bittersweet Valentine's tear-jerker rates as one of my most enjoyable shows of recent times, probably because it has 3 or 4 of my favourite ever tunes in it; Viktor Vaughn's failed mack-daddy approach to a relationship sets the tone with 'Let Me Watch', there are scathing barbs from the usually serene Bill Withers and Plaid's exceptional remix of Bjork's 'All Is Full Of Love' was (until 2hrs before the show started) an undiscovered gem that's surpassed all other versions in my opinion.

A pile of unplayed vinyl on the floor of the studio means that there's more than enough material to come up with a sequel to this show should the fancy take me. If I don't get it together then there's always next year's show...x
