For two years I've given listeners a taste of the music from Brazil that goes down clean and smooth with Arpoador Sunsets. But if you take those bossa rhythms and cross them with acid jazz and lounge, styles that they were born to be melded with, the music becomes something all together different. It moves in a very different way and it sounds more…lowdown, almost “dirty“. And it is so, so very cool that way.
