Miles. Trane. Brubeck. Mingus. Duke. Ella. Blakey. The list seems to go on forever. Everything in this show was first heard in 1959. The year is considered by most to be the greatest year in the history of Jazz with so many artists bringing out works that 60 years later are considered America‘s great classical music and some of their finest. I could not let this year pass without recognizing and sharing with you the artistry recorded and produced over those twelve months.
