Chorley FM'S DJ/ Producer / Host / Presenter / Dance Manager.

Brendan Haywood is no stranger to the music, DJ and club scene. With over twenty years experience behind him, he started out at the tender age of eleven when he bought his first pair of turntables! Practicing in his spare time at school (in his lunch hour in the music rooms) and at home.

By the time Brendan reached fifthteen, his passion and commitment to the music industry meant that he was already DJ'ing at mobile parties for family, friends and the general public.

Later, his dedication to music landed him a residency spot, at the age of seventeen, in the 'Mirage Night Club'. Notably, at eighteen years of age Brendan won his 'First Leisure DJ Competition' at 'Kudos' also in Wigan.

In 2002, Brendan went on to win the 'North Western DJ Competition' hosted by Rock FM. Thus, it was no surprise that Brendan went on to win 'Technics DJ Competition' in 2003. Musically, Brendan has since progressed and earned himself a huge following, with his energetic techno sets all over the UK and abroad. Guest slots include: 'Ministry Of Sound'(London), The Egg ( London ) 'Sankeys', Mark Free Jack, 'On a Plate' for 'Garlands'. Not to mention, sets at 'Park Hall', 'Presha','Good Greef' after parties, 'Northern Gathering', 'Entropy', Underland' Manchester, 'SORTED' Manchester 'Maximes' in Wigan, 'Cuts Deep' at Oxford Club, 'Bassment' in Manchester, 'Nantes' France, Germany's 'Voodoo Culture' to name a but a few... All of which have earned him huge credit and respect from fellow DJ's.

At the age of twenty-five, Brendan became 'Chorley FM's Dance Manager'; he not only hosts, presents and produces but he has assisted in building Chorley FM into what it is today. Running the show 'Dirty Sessionz' for nearly 11 years, he has received acclaim and notoriety for his renowned (four hour) Friday night sets- with followers, listeners and DJ requests from all around the globe.
