> Wie und wo wurde der Mix aufgenommen?
Den Mix habe ich in meinem Wohnzimmer in Dresden aufgenommen. Mein Equipment besteht aus zwei Vestax PDX 2000 Turntables, einem Ecler Nuo 3.0 Mixer, angesteuert über Traktor Scratch Pro, wobei man mit dem A6 Interface unmittelbar aufnehmen kann. Mit dem X1 MK 1 Controller brauche ich während des Sets keinen Rechner mehr anzufassen.

> Wie bist Du an den Mix rangegangen, gibt es eine bestimmte Stimmung, die Du im Kopf hattest?
Prinzipiell bin ich ein Stimmungs-Mixer. Ein durchdachter Stimmungsbogen verleiht dem Mix ein Stückchen Kunst, wobei man den Charakter sowie die Fähigkeiten eines DJs sehr gut erkennen kann. Bei diesem Mix bin ich etwas anders herangegangen. Seit meiner Zeit in Detroit (10/2013 bis 03/2014) möchte ich diverse Genres miteinander verknüpfen, die mir gefallen und deren BPM nicht allzu weit auseinander liegt. So entstand eine Mischung aus Hip Hop, Trap, Juke und letztendlich DnB. Die Zeit zum Mixen ist etwas kurz ausgefallen, aber halb so wild ;)

> Was war bisher Dein bestes Date, spielst Du irgendwo regelmäßig?
Letztens erlebte ich etwas ganz besonderes. Am 13.09. habe ich mit Jampell als Support für 3421 und Miss Red im Sabotage Dresden gespielt. 3421 sind ein Live Act aus Israel angesiedelt im Bereich Dubstep, DnB und irgendwie alles was dazwischen liegt. Nach ihnen hatten wir DnB und Halfstep im Ping-Pong Modus gespielt. Irgendwie kam Miss Red zurück auf die Bühne und hatte Lust zu uns zu singen. Ganz große Nummer, sie ist mit ihren Gypsi Style recht einmalig. Als nächstes kam deren Synthi-Spezialist auf die Bühne und hat ebenso mitgespielt. Es ist eine spontane Jamsession zwischen uns 4 „Musikern“ entstanden - sowas habe ich noch nie vorher erlebt! Unsere Gäste und wir waren absolut begeistert von der Aktion.

Regelmäßig spiele ich im "Sabotage" Dresden, bei selbst organisierten und anderen Events. Das Sabotage ist ein kleiner Club für maximal 250 Gäste, in dem eine erstklassige Anlage installiert ist. Hier wird auf eine musikalische Vielfalt geachtet und die Gäste sind super entspannt. In Kombination mit einem sympathischen Betreiber steht man hier immer wieder gern hinter den Decks.

So entstand eine Mischung aus Hip Hop, Trap, Juke und letztendlich DnB. Die Zeit zum Mixen ist etwas kurz ausgefallen, aber halb so wild ;) > Was war bisher Dein bestes Date, spielst Du irgendwo regelmäßig? Letztens erlebte ich etwas ganz besonderes. Am 13.09. habe ich mit Jampell als Support für 3421 und Miss Red im Sabotage Dresden gespielt. 3421 sind ein Live Act aus Israel angesiedelt im Bereich Dubstep, DnB und irgendwie alles was dazwischen liegt. Nach ihnen hatten wir DnB und Halfstep im Ping-Pong Modus gespielt. Irgendwie kam Miss Red zurück auf die Bühne und hatte Lust zu uns zu singen. Ganz große Nummer, sie ist mit ihren Gypsi Style recht einmalig. Als nächstes kam deren Synthi-Spezialist auf die Bühne und hat ebenso mitgespielt. Es ist eine spontane Jamsession zwischen uns 4 „Musikern“ entstanden - sowas habe ich noch nie vorher erlebt! Unsere Gäste und wir waren absolut begeistert von der Aktion. Regelmäßig spiele ich im "Sabotage" Dresden, bei selbst organisierten und anderen Events. Das Sabotage ist ein kleiner Club für maximal 250 Gäste, in dem eine erstklassige Anlage installiert ist. Hier wird auf eine musikalische Vielfalt geachtet und die Gäste sind super entspannt. In Kombination mit einem sympathischen Betreiber steht man hier immer wieder gern hinter den Decks. > Bass Music ist...
