Good evening from the great state of Michigan and welcome to episode 244 of The Everyday Junglist Podcast!! For this week's mix, I am excited to bring you the sounds of Breather, better know to me as Falko. Falko is a good friend of mine who I met last year at a Total Science party in Detroit. As you will be able to tell, Falco is a great dj and has a love for drum n' bass!! This mix starts out with some minimal rollers, progresses into some techy tunes and ends with some smooth rollers, this is a really nice mix!! Let me give you a better introduction to our selectah: Brether is a dj and promoter living in Dresden(Germany) and part of the SONICFOOD Crew. Besides the beautiful old fashioned city, Dresden is well know for a vital drum and bass scene and highly motivated promoters! Well-known artists like Enei, Chris SU, and Wintermute have played at venues there! Djing since 2005, Breather explores various soundscapes, styles, and performances of all kinds of bass music. His sets are versatile and show a great passion for the subgenres of drum n' bass. Recently, he started to combine cuts and scratches in his mixtapes, and to dig deeper into hip hop tunes. In October 2013, he lived in Detroit for 6 months and met locals like Jawa, Sinistarr, and Matt Clarke! Now back in Germany, he arranged Sinistarr's first German show in Osnbruck with the Trust in Bass Crew in September 2014.
