B.U.M. Brazilian Underground Movement

Known as B.U.M., it was a group of DJ's and musical producers that began a pioneering work of spreading electronic music in suburbs and capital of Rio de Janeiro in the 90's.

Acted on several fronts, developing alternative radio emusic programs, philanthropic events, social projects, insertion of music and technology in the lowland and the well-known alternative seal B.U.M. Records. The label was one of the pioneers in styles such as techno, jungle, house in the underground style, experimental music, d'n'b beyond what was known in the future as D'n'Bass, although it is said that this name was already widely spoken at the meetings at the home of DJ Péricles, the group's mentor.

The big focus of the group was really the parties, always with several DJs and of different styles, including with illustrious guests like Dudu Bub, Ramilson Maia, Xerxes, All Jay (Scotland), Drumagick, Marcelo Schild or even the hip hop dj Juan, later resident of the nightclub Six).
