Moonlit (Film4 Summer Screen @ Somerset House)

Recently as part of Film4's Summer Screen season at Somerset House in London, I played before the sold-out screening of the award-winning movie, Moonlight, directed by Barry Jenkins, and starring Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris, Janelle Monae & Trevante Rhodes, amongst others. I kept it soulful and mellow mostly, in key with the movie's mood and soundtrack (a couple tracks from which feature in this set). This is a mix of music that I played on the night. It was a real pleasure to play this stuff; delving away from my usual party-bag, big and loud outside, on a cool Summer's evening, in such prestigious surroundings, to a receptive audience. And the film is, of course, pretty special... I hope you dig this selection. Shout out to Euphonica, Somerset House & Film4 for having me x
