Without a doubt, one thing seems to be clear right from the start: Their meaningful name “NOT USUAL” delivers a strong statement which generates special attention. However, they impress with an extraordinary musical talent.

The DJ and producer duo based in Berlin, consisting of Phil & Mike, made their way through numerous of clubs. In previous days, either of them was in the relentless search of his own style the search for uniqueness. Only by chance, their paths crossed. They were not only sharing the same taste in music, but also they shared the passion for music and playing records. Driven by their own ambition, they met each other in the studio a several times where they quickly noticed the harmony between them. With great attention for detail, in their music organic sounds, groovy basslines and big synths are combined. Their impressing sound attracts a growing number of audiences. Also, music connects – in this case – they become good friends.
