DEFIATORY was formed from the roots of the East Bay Area thrash metal scene. With their straight
and heavy riffs, they have created a 8 songs, a 39 minute long debut album called ”Extinct.” The sound
takes you from early Megadeth, Exodus, Metallica. It is also testament to a more modern style of
thrash.
After the departure from Aeon, Ronnie started up Defiatory in early 2015. Soon after, Martin Runnzell
joined the band to fill the vocal spot. Martin's voice character was just perfect for this purpose, and
within a week the band had created their first demo,”Furor Unleashed.”
After releasing the Furor Unleashed demo, Jon Skäre joined up to fill the drum position. A new demo
was recorded at Garageland Studios during the summer of 2015 called ”Aeons End,a” three-song
demo that started the whole writing of the debut album. In August, Defiatory started to write songs for
what was going to be their debut album. And after recruiting lead guitarist Ludvig Johansson
(Apostasy, Mesolimbic) and bassplayer Patrik Wall (Apostasy, Crowdburn), the band was complete. A
release party toom on June 3rd 2015, and a full rundown live performance of the album took place on
following day.
A good listen for a workweek, or a weekend warrior’s wet dream hiking through woody areas, Dimension Darkness is worth the listen. Let’s hope that Division Vansinne is just getting started.
In 1999, Dizruptor formed what was going to become one of the most influential bands in the South American underground scene! Carpatus quickly sprung into existence. With a demo as their only weapon, they were the first band to be on Pazuzu Records, a label of the creators of Ocultan.
In 2003, Carpatus released their first full-length album entitled Out of the Desolation Planet, limited to 1000 copies worldwide. The name quickly spread in the underground scene, slowly but steadilyy brewing under a full moon, and the album gained its praise and critique by fans and followers of the metal underground scene. Next came the 2006 album Procellarum, which came out on 25th April 2006, making its way to the second wave of Brazilian Black Metal. In 2010, the band decided to step down and withdraw into the shadows. Little did the world know this was going to be the last effort from the band before going on a hiatus that lasted until 2015, when the band announced they were back together working on a new album!
The more I listen to Tales of Inevitable Death, the more I fall in love with the album. Perhaps it’s because of the fast melodic guitars, or the harsh vocals? I don’t know, but what I do know is that this album is just perfect, where every element of the album is entwined. The drums mix with those melodic guitars flawlessly, and the battery mixes with the vocals seamlessly. I also find it difficult to find any faults with the album because of how the band have created such a heavy atmosphere that any fan of the genre can love.

In 2014, we started to work with our second album entitled "The Plague." We had some lyrics as well as fragments for the title track. The writing went slow for a while, but at the beginning of 2015 we managed to put 10 songs togehter that we all were satisfied with. The songs were recorded in late 2015 after a lot of technical problems during the recording. We contacted Roberto Toderico, who did the artwork for "Where the Angels Fall," and he made some awesome artwork that fits well with the concept of the album. The Plague is basicly 10 diffrent song that all deal with the concept "plague," all from a futuristic perspective to a more ancient perspective.

The lyrics are also about how people justify terrible act by pretending to be chosen by god or by gods. The album is a mixture of different types of metal. We were not bound to boundaries when we created songs for Mordenial. Our definition of the "The Plague" is a heavy album with a lot of variation. We are very satisfied with the songs that came out of it, and hopefully you will like them too. Album recorded in Departure/Expire Studios in late 2015/early 2016. Mixed/mastered in Garageland Studios 2016 by Ronnie Björnström. Artwork: Roberto Toderico. Released July 31, 2017

Absence" is a huge step forward in terms of production, song writing, lyrical depth and overall atmosphere. Mist of Misery has entered a new phase, one that aims to evoke depressive, melancholic and ambient atmospheres in the minds of listeners, and to do so at a whole new level.
On this album, that effect was achieved mainly through the introduction of even more melodic and symphonic influences. The music is intended to set the listener in a different, almost meditative state of mind in order for them to absorb its true depth. The sophomore album, which is a unique amalgamation of two different kind sub-genres, delivers no fewer han nine tracks of cold, obscure and depressive forms of art. A musical adventure that will eventually bless the listener with a melancholic, yet beautiful experience. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered in Forlorn Halls Studios and on various private locations in Stockholm, Sweden 2010 – 2016.
The artwork was drawn by the talented artist Alex Tartsus (Russia)
The original vision was to create melodic music rich in harmony that was also brutal and epic, thus in the beginning Hyperion were inspired by many Swedish bands and still are to this day. Later, the band took a darker move towards music that was more inspired by Swedish and Norwegian Black Metal, while still maintaining the original vision of writing epic and melodic music.
The debut album,"Seraphical Euphony", which contains both new material and more professional re-recordings of the songs on the demo Blood of the Ancients.
Track taken from the EP The Age of Wolves

Rooted in Norse mythology and haunted by a pervasive sorrow, “The Age of Wolves” is a melodic journey through the ancient forests of the north. “Víðarr” is a powerful ode to the bravery of Óðinn’s son. By killing the great wolf Fenrir, he avenges his father’s death and sets the world on a new cycle of death and rebirth. Cecilie Langlie and Kjetil Ottersen’s voices bring the song to new heights of beauty and depths of despair. “Níðhöggr,” based on the evil serpent who feeds on the dead, is a reminder of the ferocity and sheer ruthlessness of the natural world. Cecilie and Kjetil’s familiar voices also grace this track, but now Andrew Malone lends his voice to the scream of Yggdrasil, as its roots are lacerated by the dragon’s fangs
Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tom Simonsen at the Secret Quarters studios.
Govorukha (Suffer Yourself) and Hekjal (Ad Cinerem), featured on the first two songs of the album.
The biggest difference to "Funeral Impressions" is the sound, which got a lot better and which pushes
