i im lee james aka dj 2nice, been collecting vinyl since 1982,originally from bradford where the electro hip hop was playing a big influence on me at the age of 9, started buying lots of vinyl in 1991 after starting clubbing,soon got the djing bug got my first turntables mid 91 , first set of 1210s in 1993, run a few nights at york art centre in 1993 "in yer eye" and back to my roots with jon roe & matt jones, first residency @ groove garden at music factory leeds in 1994 for 2 years, in 1998 quit playing house music, sold most of my 3000 house records and started again buying all types of music mainly tracks that had been sampled, digging for rare hip hop funk , electro hip hop & much more. in 1998 started competing in dmc battles, in 1999 started djing at bar oporto dj there most sat night till 2003 playing funk soul breaks, disco edits, since 2008 have just been doing parties & podcast mixtapes, nothing like digging for vinyl, its a big old world of music to look for its a life long mission for me, more mixes on mixcloud for bookings please email
