Only a few will know him for his versatility in the music industry, all the way from Gugulethi in Cape Town, raised in both Cape Town and Beaufort West the self proclaimed “afro beast” has forever loved and appreciated house music. Born Sinabo Nyumbeka on 7th May 1997, the young and upcoming afro tech dj and producer is yet to make his big and long awaited debut as a producer he has got the attention of his fellow householics with snippets of his upcoming debute releases.
The young, black and gifted 28 year old fell inlove with music at a very young age, in 2006 at just the age of 9 years he was granted an opportunity by the late Sonwabo Tshewula who was also an underground maestro himself, known as Soe De Vynne. Sinabo then grew fond of bringing is craft to life as it was his only talent, he then would be later granted on several occasions a platform in Beaufort West by Akhanyile Matiso and Aphelele Matiso, who are his aunt’s two sons and well known deep house djs, at just the age of 11 he had already been the youngest yet influential and most entertaining dj in Beaufort West much thanks to Deep Digger and Aph Soul for introducing this marvelous young dj.
He later then, after mastering his dj’ng skills, was seen by the founder of Scamto Grooves Thandolwethu Fani well known as DJ Sca, the dj then granted Sinabo the platform to be part of one of the biggest groups in the Southern Cape, Scamto Grooves.
In Manzomthombo Secondary School where he attended, he was known as a very musical kid, who was very much passionate about music, he then grew out to explore more of his talent around 2011 and started attending big events and being called to play with major artists. He was known for his amazing tribal music and had been influenced and inspired by his role model Culolethu Zulu well known as Culoe De Song throughout his dj career up until today.

Looking back now, 19 years down the line, at just the age of 28, his love for music still keeps on growing and had been influenced by fellow mates, the likes of Deep Digger, DJ Mizo, DJ Sca, DJ Ndozman, 24 Tones, Acetunes, SurvThamost, DeepDon, Dawgpound, Lungz Monatic, DJ Mizz to name a few.
The young dj, has been influenced by producers such as Culoe De Song, Black Coffee, Enoo Napa, Da Capo, KAARGO, Budda Sage, Sebjak & Fahlberg, Kususa, Sebastian Dutch, Candy Man, Manoo, Inellea, Saint Evo, Argento Dust, XtetiQsoul, Benny T, De Cave Man & TonicVoltz, Soulholic & 7Options, Black Major, Drega, Aimo, Sobek, Echo Deep, Eltonnick, Shimza, Karyendasoul, &Lez, &Me, Vanco, MasterFale, Boddhi Satva, Kintar, Mulya, Space Motion, Themba, Daniel Ratueke, Myazisto, Peoblem Child, Said Charra, DJ Kabila, Thandi Draai, Jim Mastershine to name a few.
About to make his long awaited debut, and to introduce you to his own new and great unique sound and taste of afro house, the afro beast himself, he is The Beast.
