Missfire Dj was born in Ipswich, uk, into a home where music was a daily influence. At this time Rock and Motown were her parental influences.

She first got the bug to DJ at 10 years old when she got her first boom box and she realised she could make mixtapes of her favourite songs. The seed was planted!

During the mid to late 90’s she was enjoying the rise of the uk garage/ us house and this inspired her to buy her own decks and vinyl and teach her self how to mix music. 1998 she played her first gig at The Junction, Cambridge as warm up, this gave her the real buzz and this time heavily influenced her in the music she plays today.

At the end of the 90’s Missfire Dj hung up her headphones to raise a family but never forgot music and her collection continued to grow. She returned to her life long love in 2014 when she moved from vinyl mixing to digital and acquired herself a regular spot on a local fm radio station which she still currently holds, alongside other internet radio shows.

She also has managed organised and promoted her own local events and played for various local promotions and charity nights, her mixes have been charted on Mixcloud and she has been featured on internet blogs. She continues to move forward in the hope of spreading the House music message!!!
