Jazz/Fusion
This is a Piece originally conceived (and played over and over) on my Moms acoustic piano right after my Father, Lt. Col. William Avery Kelley (U.S.A.F.) passed away in 1994. Don't know where the pattern, rhythm or notes/keys came from... I just started and kept playing/developing the head over the next year. It doesn't really sound like anything Dad would listen to! To my recollection he was primarily an Ellington, Basie, Sinatra, Joe Williams kind of guy! I just added B & C (bridge and solo sections) this week to have a journey to drum to... This is the 3rd take of drums. 1st two full of mistakes and bad mix, 3rd not a lot better but as they say, "3rd times THE CHARM!" Did not want to spend hours perfecting a 4th drum track so here it is! GEORGE KELLEY PLAYS:

Yamaha DX-7 Synthesizer> keyboard bass Rodgers> drums_Zildjian>cymbals Tascam DP-006>metronome Perc.>cowbell and bells
