Celebrating Makeda , Queen of Ethiopia who according to the Kebra Nagast, or 'The Glory of the Kings', Ethiopia's Holy Book travelled to Jerusalem to investigate the legendary wisdom of King Solomon. A son Menelik started the Solomonic lineage down to H.I.M(His Imperial Majesty) Haile Selassie I , the last Emperor of Ethiopia. We are a few days into Enkutatash, the Ethiopian New Year, beginning with Meskerem 1 on September11. Rosh Hashanah 2014 is September 24. My Summer 2014 musical wind down.
