Barebulb Sessions 006 - Mark Graham

In the hope that everyone has been enjoying the festivities so far, we’re dropping in a little surprise for you all! We’re officially just past the half-way point of the Christmas period; that calm after the storm, before the next storm. The part where we’re sick of the sight of Christmas food, but find ourselves eating it anyway. We have no idea what day it is - nobody does - but we’re grabbing whatever down time we can and trying to recharge those batteries before the final big one to see in the New Year…

It’s fitting then that we’ve invited along Contrast Wax and Nowhere To Roam label owner, Mark Graham, to help fill that void and divert our attention from those same old TV programmes that we’ve watched year upon year, reciting word-for-word, to something with a touch more substance, yet brimming with the same comforting nostalgia.

It’s a perfect lazy selection that, from moment we hit play, welcomes us in from the cold to hang up our coats and help ourselves to a drink as the occasional gentle crackle of vinyl pops away like an open fire in the background as we catch up and are reminded of tracks we thought that we had long forgotten about.
